Domestic Violence

Domestic violence can be a feature in a wide variety of family cases. Our barristers can provide emergency advice and representation in order to seek injunctions under the Family Law Act 1996 and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 and also advise about the impact of domestic violence issues in cases involving both children and finances including the impact of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

We do not underestimate the impact of domestic violence on clients and aim to provide facilities where parties can feel safe and secure whilst taking advice about their case.
