Professional Practice

Judith has a significant practice in matrimonial finance and the financial consequences on the breakdown of civil partnership and cohabitation. She has specialist experience in cases involving farms, trusts, businesses, and significant wealth. Judith is often instructed in cases that have parallel private law children proceedings which may have implications on the outcome of financial proceedings. She has substantial experience in private law children proceedings, and a particular interest in relocation cases. She endeavours to approach all cases in a pragmatic way, with an eye to swift and economic resolution where possible. Nevertheless, she is ready to challenge an inappropriate opposition case with robust and firm resolve at trial where necessary
  • Recommendations

I’ve worked with Judith for many years. What you are assured of is a thorough understanding of the nuances of her brief, pragmatism and commerciality. Furthermore, Judith is a superb negotiator and advocate who is able to read her tribunal and has its respect and confidence. She’s robust when the circumstances demand and she is able to be supportive of a vulnerable client in equal measure. Judith is responsive, very approachable and she will work with you as a team. Her skill set enables her to quickly secure the trust and confidence of the client. If you use her for the first time I am sure you’ll have that feeling of trust equally swiftly.

Our clients consistently thank me for recommending Judith to represent their interests. She is an exceptional advocate and negotiator, with an eye for detail, who instils confidence by virtue of her persuasive, insightful and empathetic approach. Her knowledge of the law and its relevance to the particular circumstances of her client’s case is exemplary. Our clients are invariably confident that they are in the hands of an expert. I couldn’t recommend Judith more highly. Quite frankly, she’s brilliant and that is the feedback I invariably receive from grateful clients.
