Professional Practice

Rosie joined chambers in October 2024 following successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Max Lewis, Amber Sheridan and Alexa Storey-Rea. She is developing a broad practice across the full spectrum of chambers' expertise: financial remedy proceedings, disputes under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, public children law proceedings, private children law proceedings and applications brought under the Family Law Act 1996.

During pupillage, Rosie assisted on a number of high-value financial remedy cases, including in the High Court, and complex public children cases involving allegations of serious non-accidental injury and sexual abuse. She has developed experience across a broad spectrum of family law and is keen to build her practice, with a particular interest in financial remedy and public children law proceedings.

Prior to joining chambers, Rosie worked as a paralegal at Payne Hicks Beach, a London-based firm ranked Tier 1 in Family in the Legal 500, gaining experience of financial remedy and private children work. She read Law at Durham University, achieving First-Class Honours, and subsequently undertook the Bar Course at City University with the support of an Exhibition Scholarship and the Struben Bequest Prize from the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. Alongside her studies, Rosie volunteered with Families in Care, gaining particular experience of dealing with vulnerable clients with complex needs. She continues to undertake pro bono work with Advocate, the Bar's national pro bono charity.
