Professional Practice

Nick is recognised in the legal directories as one of the country’s leading experts in pre- and post-nuptial agreements. He drafts them; reviews those drafted by others (including providing a second opinion for solicitors); and litigates matrimonial finance cases which concern them. The nature of Nick’s practice means that the identity of his clients is strictly confidential; but he acts for a wide range of business leaders, celebrities, aristocratic and landed families and other wealthy individuals. He is also instructed on behalf of businesses and trustees wanting to put in place common guidelines for nuptial agreements for their staff or beneficiaries. Nick’s practice concerns agreements both domestic and international. He is one of the few English practitioners completely comfortable with agreements involving input from multiple jurisdictions, such that he is frequently asked to lead a team of lawyers in different countries and navigate the complex issues which result.
